Year 2 Wonderland and Narnia Classes Update Term 2 Week 4

We have been super busy in year two this week!

Reading and writing: In our reading and writing we have been looking at instructions. We have learnt why we need them, what they tell us and what must they include. We all followed instructions to make our very own stained glass windows, which were inspired by a Victorian artist called Charles Rennie Mackintosh, and I must say they ALL look fabulous.
In Maths this week we have continued to learn about subtraction and practising some more methods to use. We finished the week by subtracting 2-digit numbers by counting back in our tens and ones.

It has been very hard this week to choose our Dazzlers as we have seen lots of great work but sadly only one from each class can be chosen.

Wonderland's Dazzler: This week's Dazzler goes to Alper for trying really hard with his work this week even when he has found it difficult. He is also Dazzler for showing extra kindness this week in light of Anti-Bullying week.Well done Alper keep it up. 🙂
Narnia's Dazzler:
This week's Dazzler goes to Ana for showing kindness to others at break times and lunch times. Thank you Ana.🙂
