Paddington Station have continued to put in a lot of effort and hard work in and out of class.
When continuing our work on our story – ‘Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch’ – we decided to make jam sandwiches for Mr Grinling. We focused on following instructions in order to make the sandwiches. Afterwards, we took them outside and had a picnic in the playground! We then had a go at writing our own set of instruction on how to make jam sandwiches.
Our Science work has been about everyday materials and their properties. We collected objects with a range of properties and sorted them into groups – discussing what each of the properties mean.
We also have a few pictures of children's home learning from our homework grid. A few examples are a description of a welly walk and a recount of a trip to the seaside. We are really pleased to see our class working hard on projects at home as well as in school.
