As part of our RE sessions, we have been learning about the story of Passover and the Seder meal that Jewish people have to remember the story.
We tasted some of food items from the Seder plate including: parsley dipped in salt water- which represents the salty tears of the Israelite slaves - and matzo crackers - which represent the unleavened bread that the slaves carried on their backs when they were set free and left in a hurry.
This was a fantastic learning experience which allows us to better understand and celebrate the wonderful diversity in our community.
