Year 5 have been busy this year with learning lots of real world skills and values. Here are a few examples.
In Computing we have been using the laptops and iPads to work on Purple Mash. We learned how to compose emails before sending them to our class friends. In the coming weeks we will be looking at how to reply, add a CC, and to attach files.
In our Skills lesson with TSD training, we have learned and practiced a lot of important skills and values. Here, we were using team work, respect, co-operation, and listening skills to play Mouse Trap. Half of the group had to run under the parachute, whereas the other half had to pin them underneath after an agreed countdown.
We look forward to developing our real world skills and keeping you updated
