We have had a couple of busy weeks in Narnia. The term started with finding out we have a new headteacher, but a briefcase is not the only thing he brought with him. We discovered our caretaker, Mr Tudgay, had noticed suspicious things on the CCTV. After becoming detectives, we worked out that Mr Graham had brought a pet dragon to the school with him! This led to a great piece of writing from the children based on the story 'Dragon Post'.
In Maths we had been busy looking at statistics and collecting surveys, the children loved gathering information about their friends and even started to make their own graphs during some free time. We have now moved onto money and the children are enjoying solving problems together.
During our Science we have been looking at living things and their habitats as well as plants, we've been planting and observing our own seeds and beans and we know what a plant needs to be healthy as well as what a plant does not need. The children have also been busy creating their own bug hotels. How great are these!
